Erect, perennial, bulbous plant with erect, flowering stems 10 – 40 cm high, that thrives in sandy beaches and sand dunes. Has 5 – 6 glaucous green, linear leaves that appear after flowering. The white, fragrant flowers appear during the period August to October.
