ABOUT Gladiolus triphyllus

Slender, cormous, erect, perennial herb 15 – 50 cm with hairless, glaucous-green stem and 3 – 4 simple, linear leaves. Pale pink or dark rose-pink flowers, smelling sweetly appear during the months March – May. Grows in open pine forest or in garigue or maquis on dry, rocky limestone or igneous hillsides.
