Η σκαλιφούρτα είναι το μοναδικό πουλί της Κύπρου που το χρώμα του αλλάζει το φθινόπωρο, προτού μεταναστεύσει, και τότε πολλοί το συγχύζουν με άλλο πουλί, το Saxicola rubetra.

Cyprus Wheatear is the only bird in Cyprus that changes its color in the autumn, before it migrates, and then many confuse it with another bird, the Saxicola rubetra.
