Μερικοί από τους πιο χαρακτηριστικούς οικότοπους που απαντούν στην Κύπρο είναι:

α) Μεσογειακά πευκοδάση με ενδημικά είδη πεύκη της Μεσογείου (τύπος οικοτόπου 9540), που στην Κύπρο αντιπροσωπεύονται με την τραχεία πεύκη (Pinus brutia).

β) Δάση μαύρης πεύκης (Pinus nigra subsp. palassiana) (τύπος οικοτόπου 9530*).

γ) Δάση ανατολικής πλάτανου (Platanion orientalis) (τύπος οικοτόπου 92C0)

δ) Δάση ελιάς και χαρουπιάς (τύπος οικοτόπου 9320)

ε) Δενδρώδεις θαμνώνες με Juniperus phoenicea (τύπος οικοτόπου 5210)

στ) Φρύγανα με Sarcopoterium spinosum (Cisto-Micromerietea) (τύπος οικοτόπου 5420).

Α) Mediterranean pine forests with endemic species of Mediterranean pine (habitat type 9540), represented in Cyprus by the Calabrian pine (Pinus brutia).

B) Black pine forest (Pinus nigra subsp. Palassiana) (habitat type 9530 *).

(C) Oriental plane tree forests (Platanion orientalis) (habitat type 92C0)

(D) Olive and carob tree forests (habitat type 9320)

(E) Woody shrubs with Juniperus spp. phoenicea (habitat type 5210)(F) Sarcopoterium spinosum (Cisto-Micromerietea) (habitat type 5420).
