According to the provisions of the Forest Law of 2012, to date the following Protected Areas have been declared:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

i. Akamas National Forest Park<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii. Micro-reserve in the valley of the cedars, Tripylos region, for the habitat of the endemic cedar (9590*, Forests with Cedrus brevifolia<\/em>) and for the protection of the endangered endemic plant Arabis kennedyae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii. Micro-reserve in the valley of the cedars, Tripylos region, for the habitat of the endemic latia (9390*, Shrubs and low stands of Quercus alnufolia<\/em>).iv.
